The solemn reception dedicated to the National Day of the Islamic Republic was held at the residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran in Moscow, Kazem Jalali.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council of Muftis Rushan Abbyasov and the Head of the International Department of the RMC and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation Ildar Galeev took part in the event.
As part of the celebration, the delegation of the Russian side met with the Deputy Head of the Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran for International Relations with Ayatollah Kumi.
Rushan Abbyasov spoke about the activities of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the RMC and stressed that Muslims of Russia and Iran have long-term fraternal relations in the spiritual, educational, and cultural spheres.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation.
