Russian Muslims took part in events on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of FJCR

The Moscow Jewish community center hosted the VII Congress of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the organization.


The event was attended by community leaders and rabbis from 140 Russian cities, as well as officials, diplomats, representatives of traditional faiths, cultural and scientific figures.


In addition, according to the press service of the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia, the Congress was attended by the head of the Department for work with public organizations of Ali Hasanov and the head of the Department for work with NGOs  Ilham Sadigov.
The delegates discussed the problems of countering xenophobia and anti-Semitism and strengthening inter-religious and inter-ethnic peace and harmony.


It is noted that the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia and the Federation of Jewish Communities of the Russian Federation have been linked by constructive cooperation for many years, including at the site of the Interreligious Council of Russia.
