On August 19, the second meeting of the Russian-Pakistani Military Advisory Committee on defense and security was held under the leadership of the Russian Deputy Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin.
The Pakistani side was headed by the first Deputy head of the country's defense department, Lieutenant General Ikram Ul-Haq.
As noted on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Russian and Pakistani sides positively characterized the development of relations between the two countries in the military sphere. Representatives of the power bloc also noted the need for more effective implementation of the existing potential for strengthening cooperation between Russia and Pakistan.
