Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin expressed Russia's willingness to support Kyrgyzstan in addressing the aftermath of the accident at the thermal power plant in Bishkek during the Digital Almaty 2024 forum.

"Regrettably, our colleague and comrade, the prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, is unable to participate in the forum today due to the incident at the thermal power plant in Bishkek. We trust that the situation will be resolved swiftly. Russia, along with all our colleagues, stands ready to assist in mitigating the impact of this incident," Mishustin declared.
