Russian Promobot robot became an employee of Istanbul airport

The Russian Promobot robot of the SKOLKOVO Foundation's resident company Promobot has become an employee of the Sabiha Gokcen international airport in Istanbul. It will advise passengers and help them with navigation, the company's press service reported.


The robot is equipped with a ticket scanner, it helps to find the boarding gate or navigate in the terminal, tells about the rules of behavior and safety, and can also call a taxi. Promobot knows several languages: Russian, English, Turkish, Arabic and Spanish. It also has obstacle sensors that allow it to move freely in areas of increased congestion.
