Russian tourists will be exported from Egypt on March 26

The Russian Embassy in Egypt intends to start exporting Russians from Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada on March 26, the head of the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy in Cairo Yusup Abakarov said RIA Novosti


"On March 26, the Embassy starts to provide measures for the emergency dispatch of Russian citizens by Belavia flights from the cities of Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada to Moscow (Domodedovo airport). It is planned to carry out two flights daily from each city," the diplomat said.


The final passenger lists, according to him, will be posted on the electronic resources of the diplomatic mission. Additional information about the place and time will be provided later by phone or email.


In Egypt, according to the latest data, 402 cases of coronavirus infection were detected, about 20 people died.


There are no direct flights between Russian cities and Egyptian resorts since 2015. Russian tourists staying in Egypt's resorts arrived there through third countries.
