As part of a working visit to Turkey, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who heads the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia-Islamic World", has met with the Governor of Istanbul province, Acting Mayor of Istanbul, Ali Yerlikaya.
According to the press service of the Head of the Republic, he briefly has told about the current visit to Turkey.
“We work closely with our Turkish Partners, including Istanbul. The development of relations is also promoted by direct flights between our cities. Today, all opportunities have been created for expanding our trade and economic contacts, strengthening humanitarian cooperation. I want to thank you for your assistance in the implementation of joint Tatarstan-Turkish projects”, the President of Tatarstan expressed.
Also Rustam Minnikhanov has invited Ali Yerlikaya to visit Tatarstan with a return visit.
The Governor, in turn, has highlighted that today it is necessary to fully use the potential of Tatarstan and Turkey for the development of mutually beneficial relations.
