This year marks the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. "In these difficult times, we have maintained an effective trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian partnership," the president of Tatarstan said.

Rustam Minnikhanov drew attention to the fact that this year showed activity in the development of cooperation. Thanks to the personal support of the president, a joint project of chemical-industrial technopark Chirchik and a branch of KFU in Jizzakh was opened.

According to the results of last year, the Tatarstan-Uzbekistan trade turnover exceeded $193 million. The growth of 23.5% was recorded. The first half of 2022 was also marked by growth - by 34%. All this, according to the president of Tatarstan, is due to active personal interaction and mutual visits resulting in joint ventures.
