On August 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who heads the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia – Islamic world", as part of the Russian delegation will visit Turkmenistan to participate in the First Caspian Economic Forum.
The Russian delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the official representative of the Kazan Kremlin Liliya Galimova told reporters at the briefing.
According to her, in addition to the participation in the forum, Minnikhanov will meet with delegations of other states.
The signing of a number of cooperation agreements is also expected.
Tatarstan President will also visit the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (one of the largest plant in the country) and Kiyanly Polymer Plant.
