Saudi Arabia plans to open a general consulate in Kazan.
Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Khalid al-Falih said about it, speaking at the 6th meeting of the Russian-Saudi intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation.
According to him, Saudi Arabia "makes efforts and presents all the measures to facilitate for Russian Muslim citizens who make the hajj to Saudi Arabia."
“We intend to open a general consulate in the city of Kazan for these purposes,” he said.
