Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that Saudi Arabia will be represented at the BRICS summit in Kazan by its Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
“Today, Saudi Arabia is participating in the BRICS summit through its Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, who is attending as an invited guest,” Peskov stated in an interview with Izvestia.
On October 10, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, announced that the Saudi Foreign Minister would represent the country at the summit.
