In 2023, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will host a ministerial meeting of the countries that make up the international coalition against the terrorist group Islamic State (IS, banned in the Russian Federation). This was reported Thursday evening by the Saudi Press Agency (SAP).
The KSA authorities' decision to hold the meeting "confirms its active role as a strategic partner in the international coalition and is in line with the kingdom's international efforts to combat terrorist organizations in all their forms and manifestations," SAP specified.
The international coalition against IS welcomed the Saudi authorities' willingness to host such a ministerial meeting, it said.
