Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone conversation with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, during which they discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the crown prince assured Abbas that "the kingdom will continue to support the Palestinian people in achieving their legitimate rights to live with dignity and to secure a just and lasting peace."
During the conversation, Mohammed bin Salman emphasized that Saudi Arabia is in contact with international partners in an effort to prevent further escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the spread of tensions in the region. Additionally, he stressed the importance of upholding the principles of international humanitarian law and ensuring the protection of civilians.
