18 November

Schools in the Lebanese capital and its surrounding areas will remain closed on November 18 and 19 following Israeli airstrikes on several parts of Beirut. This decision was announced by Lebanon's Minister of Education and Higher Education, Abbas Halabi.

According to Al Manar television, Halabi stated, “Public and private educational institutions in Beirut and nearby areas will be closed tomorrow and the day after.”

Earlier, Israeli air forces carried out multiple raids on the city, targeting the Ras al-Nabaa district in central Beirut, as well as the Mar Elias and Karakol Druze areas in the western part of the capital. The strikes have resulted in casualties and injuries.
