The second Russian school in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will open in Dubai soon. This was announced on Friday by Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov on air of the Russia-24 TV channel.
The minister recalled that the first Russian school in the country was opened in Abu Dhabi in September 2022.
"The second school [in the UAE] will be opened soon in Dubai," he said, noting that there is great interest in studying at such schools.
Kravtsov stressed the need to open schools that "don't impose their own educational systems, like the American or English ones." According to the minister, such schools form students' worldviews "according to their standards," without regard to national interests.
