According to the press service of the Russian Diplomatic Departament, during the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the development of the situation in Syria and around it.
The sides have focused on the tasks of a political settlement of the Syrian crisis.
At the same time, the Russian side has reaffirmed the principled position on the necessity to ensure the unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the CAP in accordance with the decisions of the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi and UNSC resolutions.
