As Yevgeny Anoshin, a spokesman for the Security Council of the Russian Federation, told reporters, the parties discussed issues of regional security and the fight against terrorism.
"Both sides confirmed the continuation of close cooperation between Russia and Iran in the field of regional security, as well as cooperation on the antiterrorist track", - he noted.
The X international meeting of high representatives responsible for security issues was held in Ufa on June 18-19. Representatives of more than a hundred countries and international organizations took part in it.
