Self-isolation and electronic passes are canceled in Moscow from June 9, Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.

"Starting tomorrow, June 9, self - isolation and access control will be canceled. Along with them, the walking schedule is canceled. Residents of the city, including those over 65 years old and citizens suffering from chronic diseases, can go out without restrictions,  and visit public places, " Sobyanin wrote on his personal website on Monday.

He stressed that social cards will start working again, and beneficiaries will be able to use the right to use public transport free of charge.

From June 9,  beauty salons and veterinary clinics will start operating; restrictions on carsharing will be lifted, rehearsals in theaters will resume, cemeteries will be opened to visitors, museums and exhibitions will open their doors to visitors from June 16, and doctors will resume providing routine care in dental clinics. From June 23, fitness clubs and swimming pools will open, and excursions on river trams will begin. Restrictions on the operation of kindergartens will also be lifted.

Restaurants and cafes will open in two stages: from June 16, summer verandas will start working, and a week later - the main premises.

So far, the mayor's blog does not talk about the abolition of the mask-and-glove regime, recommendations for social distancing and other sanitary requirements.

The mayor said that in the near future the city will return to a normal rhythm of life, as all major restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus will be lifted in June, while maintaining sanitary requirements.

Also today it became known that the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed an order removing a number of restrictions on the departure of Russians abroad and the entry of foreigners into the Russian Federation.

"In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, we temporarily restricted the entry of foreign citizens to Russia in March, as well as the departure of the majority of Russians abroad. However, we understand that life situations are different, " Mishustin said on Monday at a meeting of the Coordinating Council for the fight against the coronavirus under the government of the Russian Federation.

He stressed that it is important for many people to be in Russia at the moment, including to help relatives who are ill. Others need to leave Russia for many reasons. "The government has received many requests on this topic, and we are making changes to the restriction regime for people who are in this situation," Mishustin said.

The Prime Minister said: "A government decree has been signed that allows Russian citizens to leave the country to take care of sick relatives living in other countries, as well as for those who go to work and study. Departure is also provided for Russians who need to get medical care abroad."

In addition, the order will allow foreigners to enter Russia who need to undergo treatment in Russian medical organizations, as well as to visit close relatives, guardians and caregivers who need care.
