Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke over the phone with Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.
During the conversation, the officials discussed current issues relating to the further development of relations between Russia and Kuwait that have traditionally been friendly, including the activities of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
They also touched on separate aspects of the two countries’ efforts to coordinate their foreign policy at the UN Security Council.
