During his visit to Iraq, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with President Barham Saleh and Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi.
Iraqi Ambassador to Moscow Haidar Mansour Hadi announced this at a press conference at the site of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
"I will accompany Mr. Minister. He will have meetings at the highest level, including with the President of Iraq, the Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Parliament and the foreign Minister", - he said.
Lavrov, according to the Iraqi diplomat, will also be accompanied by representatives of Russia's largest oil and gas companies.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian MFA Maria Zakharova said that Lavrov's visit to Iraq is scheduled for 7-8 October.
