The Prime Minister of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum met with the Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin. As reported by the UAE media, the main topic of discussion was international issues in the field of security.
"The head of the UAE government and Naryshkin exchanged views on international security issues and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including strengthening security and stability in all societies", the message reads.
At the meeting, the ruler of Dubai stressed that "the depth of friendly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Russia is based on the common interests of the two peoples and mutual respect".
