According to him, the struggle that Egypt is actively waging against terrorism is in the interests of the entire region, and to a large extent this is “the personal merit of President Al-Sisi and the Egyptian Armed Forces.”
"We support the efforts of the Egyptian leadership to combat international terrorism and to normalize the situation in Sinai", - said Shoygu.
Today in Moscow regular consultations are being held in the “2 + 2” format of the ministers of foreign affairs and defense of Russia and Egypt.
