Soyuz with the ISS crew landed in Kazakhstan

17 April 2020

The Soyuz MS-15 lander landed with the ISS crew members-Russian Oleg Skripochka and Americans Andrew Morgan and Jessica Meir in the steppes of Kazakhstan.

Russian cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Wagner, as well as American astronaut Chris Cassidy, stayed at the station.

It is noted that taking into account the situation with the coronavirus in the world, the evacuation from the lander took place according to a shortened scenario: rescuers in masks and gloves examined the astronauts directly on the helicopters, although they usually take them to a special tent.

Skripochka and Meir arrived at the station on September 25, 2019, along with the first astronaut of the UAE, Hazza al-Mansouri. He stayed at the station for just over a week and returned on Soyuz MS-13, which Andrew Morgan arrived on July 20, 2019.
