The head of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia (SAMR), member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation Albir Krganov held an online meeting with the civic chambers of the Russian regions on "The activities of working groups of experts on mediation of interreligious and interethnic relations at the civic chambers of the regions of the Russian Federation".
According to the press service of the SAMR, the issues of consolidation and coordination of actions between the Federal and regional authorities, public, religious and national-cultural associations in order to prevent interethnic and interreligious conflicts in the early stages became central to the discussion.
"New forms of cooperation to prevent hotbeds of social tension in the religious, ethnic and migrant community in the framework of the implementation of "The State Ethnic Policy Strategy until 2025 " and "The Strategy for Countering Extremism until 2025" approved by the President of Russia were reviewed", the message on the website of the SAMR reads.
In the near future, there will be groups of experts formed at the regional civic chambers, which will be engaged in strengthening good-neighborly and partnership relations between nations, nationalities and traditional religions.
