A delegation from the State Duma, led by Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, has embarked on an official visit to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Upon arrival, Volodin was welcomed by Saqr Ghobash, President of the UAE Federal National Council, and their initial discussions took place.
The visit includes the planned signing of a cooperation agreement between the State Duma and the UAE Federal National Council.
The delegation comprises State Duma Deputy Speaker Alexander Babakov, as well as the heads of various committees including industry and trade's Vladimir Gutenyev, science and higher education's Sergei Kabyshev, agrarian issues' Vladimir Kashin, budget and taxes' Andrei Makarov, international affairs' Leonid Slutsky, and tourism's Sangadzhi Tarbayev.
