The 6th International Summer School "Bulgarian Cultural Dialogue-2022" on the topic "Personal Model of Interreligious Dialogue" will be held in the Republic of Tatarstan from August 16 to 18 in online and offline formats. Students of secular and religious educational institutions from Russian regions and foreign countries will meet in the walls of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy.
The organizer of the summer school is the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" together with the Bulgarian Islamic Academy, the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, the Selet youth center and the Russia - OIC Project Office of International Youth Cooperation.
The program includes the development of projects on the basis of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy and the qualifying round of the best works. This year within the framework of the International Summer School a competition of social projects on the topic: "Personal model of interreligious dialogue" was announced. Summer school participants will take part in seminars and trainings with experts and specialists in social design, personal models of interreligious dialogue and public speaking.
Names of finalists of the International Summer School will be announced on August, 18, following the project presentations.
Winners will get monetary reward and will be able to implement their projects with support of international experts. Electronic database of projects and materials will be published as the result of the International Summer School.
The "Bulgarian Cultural Dialogue" Summer School takes place every year within the framework of the GSV "Russia - Islamic World". The project helps form intercultural communication practices on the basis of familiarization with historical and contemporary aspects of the interrelation of the role of education in the harmonious development of interreligious relations, as well as popularize spiritual traditions and values, strengthen interfaith dialogue among young people.
