The Aleppo airport has experienced two suspensions of operations this year due to Israeli airstrikes. On March 7, the airport remained non-operational for over two weeks following an Israeli attack. Humanitarian aid deliveries intended for the population affected by the February 6 earthquake were temporarily rerouted to Latakia and Damascus.
