Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov met with Qadri Jamil, the leader of the Syrian opposition Popular Front for Change and Liberation and head of the Syrian opposition’s Moscow Platform, at the latter's request.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the current situation in and around Syria with an emphasis on the issues of the Constitutional Committee's work in the context of the decisions of the Syrian National Dialogue Congress held in Sochi and the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
