He specified that at the present time the relevant ministries and departments of the republic are forming the aid, and soon the delivery will begin.

According to the minister, Tajikistan "is also ready to provide its logistical infrastructure, including six bridges on the Tajik-Afghan border for the delivery of humanitarian goods to Afghanistan by international organizations". He added that the UN is already delivering aid through Tajikistan's checkpoints. "We are also providing medical services for Afghan residents of the territories bordering Tajikistan, we continue continuous supplies of electricity to Afghanistan, particularly to the northern provinces and Kabul," the minister specified.

Mukhriddin added that Tajikistan expects the Afghan government to demonstrate in practice its readiness for dialogue with all ethnic groups in the country and respect for human rights.

"Tajikistan's position has not changed with respect to the Taliban," the foreign minister said. He noted that the world community continues to signal to the Taliban the need for a truly inclusive state.

"We expect the Taliban to show in practice that they are ready to talk to leaders of all political and ethnic groups in the interest of the whole Afghan people, in other words, the Taliban need to show in practice their commitment to human rights and freedoms to the international community," the minister explained.

The foreign minister also pointed to the increasing level of challenges and threats, in connection with which the government of Tajikistan is taking all necessary measures to strengthen the southern borders of the republic. "The president of Tajikistan decided to begin mobilization of additional reservists for border protection," the minister said, adding that the country is also actively cooperating with other partners in this direction.
