The delegation of the Taliban movement has arrived in Moscow to participate in a solemn meeting on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between official Moscow and Kabul.
According to TASS, the delegation is headed by the Deputy Head of the movement, the Head of the Taliban’s political office (banned in the Russian Federation) in Qatar, Mullah Abdullah Ghani Baradar.
The event will also be attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, ex-President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai and the Republic’s ambassador to Russia Mohammad Latif Bakhand.
The main topic of the discussion at the meeting will be possible ways to establish peace in Afghanistan.
