Tatarstan and Indonesia will jointly develop an IT platform in the field of halal goods and services. A corresponding agreement is planned to be signed in the framework of KazanSummit 2019. According the interview for Tatar-inform, the First Secretary of the Indonesian Embassy in Russia, Chakhya Sumaningsikh, said that Indonesia has no joint projects with Tatarstan, but the Asian state is interested in cooperation with the Republic.
“The document assumes cooperation in the scientific field, holding seminars, conferences, developing an IT platform for halal goods and services, as well as other areas,” she noted, in particular.
According to Sumaningsikh, the most promising areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Indonesia are deliveries of halal products from Indonesia to Tatarstan and from Tatarstan to Indonesia. At the present time, Tatarstan companies are not demostrated produced halal products in the Indonesian market, which is the largest Muslim country in the world.
