American soldiers tried to block the path of a Russian military patrol in Syria, but their armored vehicle stalled, a source familiar with the situation told RIA Novosti.
"The incident occurred in the village of Abra, about 50 kilometers from Haseke," the source said.
The hood of the American M1235 MRAP armored car, which was trying to block the path of the Russian military, steamed suddenly, and it stalled. This was preceded by a pop, characteristic of a burst tube of the engine cooling system.
The Russians continued to follow the route.
