Forces of the Black sea fleet began tracking the US Navy destroyer USS Porter, which entered the Black sea on Sunday. This is stated in the message of the National Defense Management Center of Russia.


"The forces and means of the Black sea fleet began tracking the actions of the US Navy's URO (PRO) Porter (Orly Burke type) destroyer, which entered the Black sea at 19: 45 on July 19, 2020," the report said.


Earlier on Sunday, the US Navy's Sixth fleet reported that the Porter missile destroyer was heading to the Black sea to participate in the Sea Breeze-2020 exercise with Ukraine for the 20th time. It is expected that 2,000 military personnel, 27 ships and 19 aircraft from nine countries would take part in the exercise, which would take place from July 20 to 26: Bulgaria, Georgia, Spain, Norway, Romania, the United States, Turkey, France and Ukraine.
