The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Foreign Ministers will discuss the current international agenda

On April 5th, the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held in Moscow.

 

As reported on the official website of the CIS Executive Committee, the draft agenda of the event includes ten issues that were formed in January this year at a meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth.

 

In particular, it’s planned to discuss topical issues of the international agenda, as well as interaction in the Commonwealth format.

 

Special attention will be paid to the draft Statement of the CIS Heads of State on the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War. In particular, it is planned to discuss the issues of preservation and proper maintenance of military graves and monuments of the Great Patriotic War. According to the results of discussions, the signing of an appeal is expected.
