On September 4, the Bulgarian Islamic Academy (BIA) visited the United Arab Emirates.
According to the BIA website, the delegation is headed by the rector Daniyar Abdrakhmanov. Representatives of the Academy met with the Chairman of the World Council of Muslim Communities Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi. During the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement between the World Council of Muslim Communities and the Bulgarian Islamic Academy. The agreement provides for the joint development of educational programs in Islamic Sciences, research on the history of Russian Islam, and the implementation of other projects in close cooperation between the two sides.
Also, the rector of BIA Daniyar Abdrakhmanov held a meeting with Mufti of Abu Dhabi Muhammad Aslam, who is the 2nd year doctoral student at the Bulgarian Islamic Academy.
