The first doctoral theses were defended at the Bulgarian Islamic Academy

The first three doctoral theses on "Islamic doctrine", "Shafi'i law" and" Quranic Sciences" were defended at the Bulgarian Islamic Academy, the rector of the Academy Daniyar Abdrakhmanov told "Tatar-inform".

 

 


"This is the first defense of doctoral dissertations in Islamic Sciences in modern Russia. Most of the works are devoted to the revival of local theology - Tatar and the heritage of the North Caucasus", he said in particular.

 

 


The dissertation committee of the BIA consists of 19 people, including the Chairman Dr. Ismail Bolbol, former head of the Palestinian branch of Al-Azhar University, the Vice-Chairman, candidate of historical Sciences, Vice-rector for scientific activities Ramil Adygamov and scientific Secretary, candidate of historical Sciences Damir Shagaviiev.

 

 


Two scientists participated remotely - Abdulrazzaq al-Saadi from Jordan and Ibrahim Mureikhi from Bahrain.
