According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, diplomats have discussed issues on the bilateral agenda «in terms of strengthening Foreign Policy coordination and improving the effectiveness of diverse ties», and also have agreed to develop a dialogue at the leadership level of the two Foreign Ministries.

During the discussion of regional problems, the main attention was paid to the situation in Libya, Syria, as well as in the sphere of Western Sahara settlement.
