The head of the Russian government approved the opening of Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Kazan

The Consulate General of Saudi Arabia will be opened in Kazan. The corresponding order, as reported on the official Internet portal of legal information, was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.


"To accept the proposal of the Russian Foreign Ministry, agreed with the interested federal executive authorities, executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation and authorized representatives of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga and North Caucasus Federal districts, to open the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the city of Kazan," the message reads, in particular.


According to the document, the Consular District will include Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Mari El, Mordovia, North Ossetia, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Chechnya, Chuvashia, as well as the Perm region, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Penza, Samara, Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions.
