The International Center of Halal Standardization and Certification of the Russian Muftis Council and the Russian Export Center (REC) signed a Memorandum on cooperation.
The document was signed by the General Director of the International Center of Halal Standardization and Certification Aidar Gazizov and Director for international adaptation of export goods at REC Andrey Schreiber.
According to the press service of the RMC, the forthcoming joint activities of Halal certification center and REC will lead to continued sustainable growth of exports of Russian products, a large part of which is now occupied by exports of Halal products.
Halal certification center has been fruitfully working on the development of export of the Russian Halal production to the Muslim countries for many years.
In 2014, the International Center of Halal Standardization and Certification received the accreditation of the Ministry of Environment and Water of the UAE, which became the milestone at the beginning of the mass export of Russian Halal meat products to the OIC countries.
