Russia hopes that a military coup in Sudan will not lead to the human casualties. Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation informed about this in an interview with journalists.
According to him, the Kremlin is following closely the situation in Sudan and is looking forward on «returning the situation to the constitutional direction».
In addition, Peskov expressed the hope that Russian-Sudanese relations «will be a constant in the foreign policy of Sudan» in any case of the outcome of the situation, which «is exclusively an internal affair of the Sudanese themselves».
