The Lebanese authorities and the Ministry of Emergency Situations signed an act on the completion of the work of the Russian group in Beirut

Representatives of the EMERCOM of the Russian Federation and the management of civil defense and emergency situations in Lebanon signed an act on the completion of the work of Russian rescuers and doctors in Beirut, the operational headquarters of the Russian group of rescuers told TASS.


"Together with the leadership of the civil defense and emergency services of Lebanon, an act was drawn up and signed on the completion of work by the Russian group in the emergency zone," the headquarters said.

 

 

Earlier it was reported that the group of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, liquidating the consequences of the explosion in Beirut, planned to work there until Saturday inclusive. Emergency responders arrived in Beirut on August 5 to help victims of the explosion at the port and participate in a search and rescue operation. At the stadium, Russian specialists have deployed a mobile hospital, where doctors of the "Centrospas" detachment of the EMERCOM of Russia received victims.


During the work, rescuers found and extracted the bodies of 10 people from the rubble.
