A regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States will take place in Moscow today.
The agenda includes ten issues covering a wide range of areas of cooperation within the CIS.
In particular, the Foreign Ministers will exchange views on topical international and regional issues, as well as prospects for deepening multifaceted cooperation within the Commonwealth.
Special attention will be paid to cooperation in law enforcement, cultural and humanitarian spheres. In particular, draft agreements on the coordination of interstate relations in the field of basic research and on cooperation in the field of museum affairs, as well as a draft convention on the transfer of the execution of punishments not related to deprivation of liberty are to be considered.
