Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov recieved the representative of the leadership of the Syrian opposition Front for Change and Liberation, the head of the "Moscow Platform" of the Syrian opposition Kadri Jamil.
According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the conversation, a detailed exchange of views took place on the development of the military-political situation in and around Syria, including in the context of Washington’s recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
In this regard, the need for an early political settlement of the Syrian crisis and the formation of the Constitutional Committee was stressed out.
