The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia held consultations with the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov with the Secretary of State for economic diplomacy at the Foreign Minister of Tunisia Hatem Ferjani.
According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, diplomats exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
Special attention is paid to the task of consolidating the efforts of the world community in the early resolution of conflicts in Syria, Libya and Yemen, as well as the promotion of a Palestinian-IIsraeli settlement.
They also discussed the preparation for the convening in Tunisia of the next meeting of the Russian-Tunisian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation, which is scheduled for April 24th-26th of this year.
