The United States refuses to cooperate with Russia in the field of cyber security, because they have nothing to back up the allegations related to the alleged interference in the elections. This is stated in the commentary published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
«Moscow has long been offering Washington a professional way of discussing possible complaints regarding the impact on electoral processes. In particular, we regularly raise the question of re-creating a working group on cyber security, but the United States evades this, because they have nothing to back up with unfounded allegations», the report notes.
We recall that the day before in the United States published the main conclusions from the report of the US Special Prosecutor Robert Muller about the alleged Russian intervention in the American elections in 2016.
