The most relevant international issues will be discussed at the “Primakov Readings”

The Primakov Readings, an international forum of experts, diplomats and politicians have dedicated to the memory of the scientist and statesman, Academician Yevgeny Primakov, will be held in Moscow on June 10th-11th.

 

 


The theme of this year’s event is “Return to confrontation: are there alternatives?”

 

 


More than 80 leading foreign experts and more than 600 representatives of the Russian scientific and expert community, government bodies, political and business circles will take part in the forum.

 

 


It is known that the idea of ​​holding the Primakov Readings was supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who spoke at the forum in 2016.

 

 


According to the website of the Organizating Committee, the purpose of the forum, is the creation in Russia of a regularly operating international discussion platform for public discussion of the most acute problems of the world economy, politics and international security with the participation of leading representatives of Russian and foreign research and analytical centres.
