The Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia and the Russian Muftis Council Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin congratulated medical workers on their professional holiday and thanked them for their help to the clergy, the website of the organization reports.

"The new virus has also caught up with the Russian clergy, affecting the muftis of a number of Russian regions, imams and members of the spiritual departments of Muslims were ill. Praise be to Allah, thanks to your help and professional work they have discharged from hospitals and serve the Ummah again. And again, just like you, they are on the front line. Just like you, doctors are body healers and clergy are healers of human souls," Gainutdin said.

He noted the successful cooperation of the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia with doctors of different confessions and "with great satisfaction" welcomed the decision to establish the Order of Pirogov and the medal of Luka of Crimea - awards for medical professionals.

"On behalf of the RMC, the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the entire Muslim community and myself, I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday - Medical Worker's Day! Together with the multi-millionth Ummah of Russian Muslims, I prayerfully wish you all strength, wisdom, patience and endurance, prosperity, and success in your truly God-pleasing profession",  the Mufti summed up.
