Against the background of tensions around Iran, the Pentagon intends to submit to the White House a plan to send several thousand more military to the Middle East. Fox News reported it with reference to its sources.

In addition, the Pentagon allegedly plans to deploy batteries of Patriot anti-aircraft complexes and warships in the region. The final decision on this issue, however, as noted, has not yet been made, and it is not known whether the White House will approve this plan.
