The President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of strategic relations with Russia

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev received the new Ambassador of the Republic to Russia Yermek Kosherbayev.


According to the press service of the head of state, the President emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic and allied relations with Russia.


"During the meeting, the head of state noted the importance of further comprehensive development of strategic and allied relations with the Russian Federation, including within the framework of integration processes," the message reads.


Recall that in December last year, the former Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Imangali Tasmagambetov was dismissed due to reaching the retirement age.


Yermek kosherbayev previously worked as the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
