The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met today with the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ramazan Abdulatipov.
According to the Press Office of the Head of the Republic, the meeting was attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov and Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Founders of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy Kamil Iskhakov.
The parties have discussed issues related to the strengthening of comprehensive friendly relations between Russia and the Islamic world. They considered the next steps in the development of trade and economic relations, contacts in the field of education and culture.
As it is known that Ramazan Abdulatipov arrived in Kazan to participate in the XI International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit-2019", which today has started in the capital of the Republic.
